In addition to reliable transportation, KCI promotes comfortable relationships between drivers, children and parents by scheduling the same driver to operate a vehicle every day for a full school year.

Driver Profiles

KCI drivers are uniformed and fully trained on company policies and practices, scheduling and routing systems, and vehicle characteristics.

In addition to safe driving records, the KCI staff enjoys working with children of all ages. The majority of the drivers have been with KCI for many years.

Driver Screening

When new drivers are added, KCI owner, Kevin Hardy, applies his background in the security industry to the screening process. Each candidate is interviewed in-person and thorough criminal and Department of Motor Vehicles background checks are conducted to verify their suitability for transporting children of all ages.

Vehicle Information

KCI minivans are late model vehicles that are clean and well-maintained. Each van is equipped with car seats (for younger children) and seat belts. Drivers have cell phones readily available to permit direct communication between themselves, the KCI office and parents.
